Winnipeg Hockey Concept

Purely for fun, this logo and team uniform design was done in response to the new NHL team going to Winnipeg.

The main icon is a stylized W for Winnipeg with the shoulder crests representing Canada and hockey (Falcon/Maple Leaf diving towards a puck) and the city itself (W for Winnipeg reflected as the M for Manitoba).

The colour scheme was chosen to represent the markings of a peregrine falcon.

Benguiat was chosen as the font as it has a sharpness similar to a falcon’s beak and talons.
